Traffic Division

The Traffic Division is tasked with responding to traffic safety matters throughout the Borough, from crash investigations to enforcement of state traffic laws.  The Traffic Division also deploys mobile message boards, monitors traffic data recorders, evaluates work zones and maintains the RADAR equipment deployed throughout the police vehicle fleet.  Our department works with the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission to conduct periodic safety checkpoints, and participates in seatbelt mobilization campaigns and DWI special patrols.
